10 Harmonious Introvert Places Around the Metro

Introverts are often misunderstood by the society.

In reality, introverts are people who just enjoy the quality time of being alone. They are not anti-social but selectively social. To think that they can be happy without the help of anyone is something admirable that isn’t bearable for most.

So for my fellow introverts out there, here’s some of the places where you can be yourself without being annoyed by anyone

1. Books and Borders

What could be more comforting than a cup of freshly brewed coffee and the smell of book pages as you flip them? Albeit they have fast internet connection, there are good books you can borrow too (well books are pretty much better!)

Location: 281 Tomas Morato Ave, Quezon City

2. Pups and Cups Dog Cafe

Furry babies are more better to pet than humans… and more affordable. For only P190 you can enjoy a drink and 1 hour and 30 minutes play time with their dogs (which is more cheaper than a date with a human with very distinct set of taste)

Location: 363 El Grande Avenue Corner Cebu Street, BF Homes, Paranaque City

3. Epic Roastery Cafe

Epic food trip on an epic budget – Epic Roastery Cafe is an affordable venue with quaint instagrammable ambiance. It is perfect for introvert because this will somehow give you a break out from the throngs in the city!

Location: #102 East Capitol Drive, Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig

4. Museum of Miniatures

Give yourself a blissfully European tour at the very artistic Museum of Miniatures in Marikina City. These adorable imaginative small objects are carefully handcrafted and some are replicas you can find in a typical European mansion. It is only open during Friday to Sunday, good for weekend “me” time!

Location: 2nd Level, E-com building Riverbanks Center, Barangka Marikina City

5. Figaro in Rockwell

This Figaro branch is not less than any other Figaro Italian/European concept you’ve probably know. The good thing about this place is it lies on the ground level of Rockwell hence, more peaceful and cozy it will eventually spoil your introvert soul.

Location: G/F Joya Residential South Tower Estrella cor. Joya Drive Rockwell Center, Makati

6. Washington Sycip Park

We no longer need to travel miles and cross boarders to enjoy nature. Washington Sycip Park is a place where you can enjoy comfort that only nature can give. You can bring a blanket with you and lie down with your book, or walk and feel the cool breeze of nature.

Location: Legaspi St., Legaspi Village, Makati

7. Tres Kuleros Records & Dry Goods

Are you into music? Check out this quaint place in Boni Avenue where you can see and play classic vinyl records! Sometimes when we constantly hear the modern genre, listening to old-fashioned sounds like The Beatles, The Cure, Sonic Youth, Queens of the Stone Age and John Coltrane will make us appreciate the importance of the classic. After all, you cannot call it a classic if it wasn’t a legend.

Location: 641 Boni Avenue, Mandaluyong City

8. Treskul Records and Cafe

This place is also filled with vinyl records and rare old collections. Can you just imagine the refreshing interlude of classic songs playing as a background music while you’re sipping an aromatic coffee blend?

Location: CIFRA Building, Boni Avenue, Mandaluyong City

9. Paco Park

Divergent to the mainstream Rizal Park, Paco Park is more quiet with colonial architecture as it dates back in Spanish Era and used to be a cemetery (indeed, an introvert with an adventurous soul)!

Location: Belen, Paco, Manila

10. The Art Circle

The Art Circle will ignite your artistic spirit with their aesthetic paintings pasted all over the wall of the restaurant. It is a new way of appreciating art with the help of food!
